The British official arrived in Tehran on Saturday to hold meetings with Iranian officials.
Johnson’s visit aims at reviewing the latest conditions of bilateral ties, regional issues and international developments, and developing trade and banking relations.
During his two-day stay, Johnson is scheduled to meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi.
